Supra DC-BLOCKER MD01-16-EU is a device for removing the DC component from an alternating current network. Direct component (DC) is a result of connecting a large number of modern electrical appliances to the mains and distorting the alternating current sine wave, and has a detrimental effect on sensitive components of hi-fi and multimedia equipment, increasing noise levels and degrading the quality of sound and video transmission. The Supra DC-BLOCKER device effectively eliminates this problem by blocking the DC component in the AC network up to 3.6 V, thanks to which humming and noise in the connected equipment disappear, and the sound of the audio system reaches the maximum level of quality.
Supra DC-BLOCKER MD01-16-EU is equipped with one European socket and is designed for a total load current of up to 16 A, which allows you to connect quite powerful electronic equipment to it, the maximum peak power is 3.68 kW. The filter has good noise immunity, and not only is it not susceptible to external radio frequency interference, but it itself is not a source of it. This proprietary technology is called LORAD (Low Radiation) and is also used in the production of Supra shielded network cables. The filter is made in a reliable aluminum housing with screw fastening of the panels and is suitable for both floor and wall placement.
The device comes with wall mounting brackets and rubber feet. The network cable must be purchased separately.
